Boys will be BOYS! :)

Well, No matter how many times you tell a boy to stop jumping on the couch, you would think he would listen! Kaden will listen NOW, since he broke his arm yesterday he "pinky promises" he won't do it again! ;) He jumped right off the couch onto all fours and broke his forearm, so he in now in a cast and sling (he calls it his arm SWING!) The doc said that the way it broke it will heal very quickly - HOPEFULLY, he was such a trooper throughout the whole thing, getting his xrays, putting the cast on etc...up until we get to the car to go home, he couldn't climb into the car, couldn't put his seat belt on, the poor kid couldn't do ANYTHING! So the whole drive home he just cried and wanted it OFF! By this time the cast was starting to harden and it was makin him even more mad! He starts thinking, he can't ride his fourwheeler anymore, or his bike... We get home and he learns that it is hard, so what do I teach him?! To hit me on the head with it, just so he would stop being sad, BIG MISTAKE! (For some of you who don't know or remember, I had a cast the same age as him and I was called Castie and would ALWAYS hit my brother with it) He thought that was hilarious so he has to do it to me every couple minutes, talk about headaches! :) He is smart tho, he is taking advantage of this and insists on popsicles and candy and anything he wants! lol Other than all this, he is doing very well, he goes back to the doc on Monday and from there we will know how long he will have to have the cast on!
